Since October 31, 2009 Street Church friends have gathered weekly from the city, surrounding communities, and neighborhoods of Greenville,for the opportunity of receiving physical, emotional, supportive and spiritual -life ministry. There is a time of worship, music,prayer and the life changing message of hope, is shared with the Street Church Friends of all ages. A nutritious meal provision is served by the dedicated Street Church Team, and many weekly group and individual volunteers. Personal care items, snacks and non perishable food distributed in hope bags. A volunteer, qualified staff is available to give referral information to those desiring life need resources to shelter/ housing/ medical care/ addiction transformation ministries/education employment/child care/maternity/ "at risk" ministries. \AS OUR CITY AND THE WORLD PLUNGED INTO THE COVID -19 HEALTH CRISIS MARCH 2020 STREET CHURCH MINISTRIES REACTED TO THE GREATER THAN EVER NEED WITH CONTINUING PASSION AND ACTION .. ON MARCH 18, 2020 HOPE ON THE STREETS CONTINUED EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NECESSARY TO IMMEDIATELY RELOCATE DTHE WEEKLY MINISTRY SITE TO A TEMPORARY LOCATION At the YMCA Judson Community Center Greenville We are thankful for the Staff ,Board of Directors-Partners, for the provsion of a temporary ministry site for 18 months. We were blessed to serve the community and the city with much needed food resoureces distributing ,meal provisions and life need provisions to over 200 families each week and serve over 275,000 hot meals and an additional 15-20 lbs of non- perishable food, dairy and fresh produce each week to our citys food insecure, under resourced, struggling, and impoverished children, and families......and to share the life changing message of HOPE. Even though it seemed t the ministry's permanent location was at times un certain for the future , we continued to pray, and belifeve. Our faithful God contiuned to be our provider,and protector as we shared his love and light during the many fear filled, and dark days of the Chaotic Covid Crisis . - God provided a miracle after the accident following the (drive thru) Christmas Hope Event at the west end center downtown Greenville December 2020 , Pastor Randell exited the event with the mobile kitchen he was hit by a drunk driver going the worng way without lights -Pastor Randell was miraculously unijured , however the mobile kitchen as destroyed . Street Church Ministries never stopped but rather continued to pray and believe for greater than ever miracles, the ministry contiuned weekly at the YMCA temporary location from uhaul trucks, with and a great team of volunteers. In April of 2021 we celebrated Easter with over 1000 children we also dedicated a beautiful new mobile kitchen , Every Prasie to our God !
It was another great celebration day September 2021 as Street Church Ministries Greenville, through the generous miracle financial gifts of partners in hope purchased a beautiful property (now debt free) in the center of "great need" where we have been called to go ... (located only ten blocks from the location where street church began Hope on The Streets is happening Sundays 5pm Street Church Ministries Greenville 1601 W. Blue Ridge Dr. at Cedar Lane, Road We contiune to expand the ministry he plans for Street Church Ministries Greenville Kids KItchen Ministry Center ) thank you partners, thank you volunteers for gving hope !
