Each Sunday evening at Street Church as children of all ages gather for the music and ministry and "a small meal", they are welcomed by our dedicated team of professional volunteers -pastors, chaplains, teachers, nurses, ministry and civic leaders, youth groups, missions groups, and caring volunteers of all ages who are passionate about making a difference in children's lives. Whether it is providing Popsicles, crafts, music, reading materials, a snack, or just encouraging them to have safe and productive week at school, the ultimate goal, is to be faith and hope filled mentors for these children leading them toward a stable, strong, secure, life-choice path through Biblical principles as well as promoting academics. The life circumstances and concerns of these children ages infant-high school are sometimes unbelievable; however, they seem to have a resilience when someone takes time with them, giving them hope and encouraging them to choose to excel.
